Amelia Phelan started in the lab as a summer student and is currently undertaking her honours research on the visual capabilities of anemonefish (Amphiprion ocellaris). Amelia is conducting behavioural experiments using a novel LED stimuli display board that was recently developed for testing animal vision by the Sensory Neurobiology group at the Queensland Brain Institute. She is specifically interested in investigating how anemonefish perceive ultraviolet colour signals.
